Nancy Ann (Feller) Domingoes, 80, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was the wife of John A. Domingoes.Born in Newport, RI on July 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Louie and Helen (Doyle) Feller. Nancy worked with her husband in their family business, Domingoes Construction, for 63 years. She was a graduate of St. Augustin's Grammar School and St. Catherine's Academy in Newport RI. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Portsmouth. A dedicated friend and loyal community volunteer, Nancy loved nothing more than cooking and taking care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was a dedicated volunteer for the Bristol Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry for the past 25 years. She also volunteered for Paws Watch of Bristol for the past 15 years, and was previously a 25 year volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Newport and Middletown. Besides her loving husband of 63 years, she is survived by her children: Cathy Betts and her husband Tom; Debbie McFarland and her husband Mike; Jack Domingoes and his partner Debra; Shari Alvanas and her husband Christopher, all of Portsmouth, RI; her brother Ralph Ruscetta and his wife Martha of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren: Dan Betts of Saunderstown, RI; Josh Betts of Newport, RI; Matt Betts and his wife Kyla of Little Compton, RI; Dustin Alvanas and Cassidy Alvanas of Portsmouth RI; Cory Domingoes and Dean Domingoes of Portsmouth, RI; Jennifer McFarland of Newport, RI; her great-grandchildren: Jeremy Frodyma of Tiverton, RI; Elsa Andrews and Jude Andrews of Little Compton RI; Jesse Betts of Warwick, RI; Nathan Betts of Tiverton, RI. She was the sister of the late Catherine MacNeil.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 10:30am to 1:30pm at the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth RI.Her funeral will be held on Monday December 9, 2013 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Anthony's Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth RI.
