Middletown, RI - Wilder L. (Dilworth) Wilkins, 73, of 205 Maple Avenue, Middletown, RI, died on June 6, 2013 at the John Clarke Nursing Home in Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late James Wilkins. Born in Little Rock, AK on November 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Dilworth.Mrs. Wilkins was a graduate of Dunbar High School in Little Rock, AK. She was a communicant of St. Josephs Church and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son Rickey Wilkins of, CA , her daughter Lisa Rogers and her husband Milton of Wakefield, RI, her grand children Jason and Christine Smith, Jobie Lewis Rogers and eight more grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert M. Freeman, Anna Mae Williams and Willie Jean Star. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday June 12, 2013, from 5-7 pm, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway Newport, RI.Her funeral will be held on Thursday June 13, 2013 at 9am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, in St. Josephs Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park, Howland Ave Middletown. Donations in her memory may be made to American Diabetes Association 222 Richmond Street, Providence, RI 02903.
