Maureen M Garvey

Maureen M. Garvey, 96 of Fall River, MA died on August 19, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.Born on July 4, 1916 in Tiverton, RI, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mae (McGuire)Garvey. Ms. Garvey was a member of the Tiverton Garden Club, and also a member of the St. Christopher's Church Women's Guild. She was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI and was a member of the Newport Art Association. She worked as a Fashion Illustrator for many years for Gladdings Outlet. She was very passionate about her art. She is survived by many cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday August 24, 2012 from 4pm -6pm in the Connors Funeral Home 55 West Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI.
