Nancy Ann Regine

NEWPORT, RI - Nancy Ann Regine, 51, of 445 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI died Thursday, April 21, 2005, unexpectedly at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Robert L. Regine. Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 8, 1954, she was the daughter of Thomas J. Eagan of Portsmouth and the late Jeananne Nolan Eagan.Mrs. Regine was a Teachers Assistant at Gaudet Middle School in Middletown. She enjoyed gardening, searching out garage sales, particpating in charity work and crafts. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and best friend. She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years Robert L. Regine of Portsmouth, RI, a son Robert L Regine Jr of Portsmouth, RI, and a daughter Kara Ann Regine of Portsmouth, RI, her father Thomas J Eagan of Portsmouth, RI, three brothers Thomas J. Eagan Jr. of Doylestown, PA, Stephen N. Eagan of Coral Springs, FL and Brian A. Eagan of East Greenwich, RI, four sisters Susan E. Ryan of Warwick, RI, Mary E. Henrikson of New Canaan, CT, Meg J. Fox of Norton, MA, and Elizabeth E. Krause of Cranston, RI, her sister in-law Sally Regine of Nashua, NH, her mother in-law Rosemarie Regine of Portsmouth, RI and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Robert L. Regine. Her funeral will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005, at 9:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2005, from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
