Nancy J. Nunes

NEWPORT, RI - Nancy J. Bliven Nunes, 73, of 87 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, formerly of Third Street, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late John Joseph Nunes. Born in Newport, RI on August 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred Bliven. Nancy was a native Newporter and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children John J. Nunes Jr. of Newport, RI, Elmer Nunes of Portsmouth, RI, and Debra L. Nunes of Portsmouth, RI, her sister Myrtle Bonus of Newport, RI, her grandchildren Elmer Nunes Jr., Jonathan Nunes, Elizabeth Nunes Garrido and Sarah Nunes, and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joseph A. Nunes. Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005, at 11:00 AM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2005, from 6-8 in the Memorial Funeral Home.
