Portsmouth, RI - Nathalie Bailey King Brigham, 96, of 5 Seacrest Avenue, Portsmouth, formerly of 131 Vernon Avenue, Newport, RI, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at home.She was the wife of the late Willard O. Brigham. Born in Newport, RI on November 7, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Geoffrey and Sarah Bailey King. Mrs. Brigham was a life time member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church. She was a life member of the Rogers High School Alumni Association, a member of the Middletown Historical Society, the Major William Taggart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Association of retired Federal Employees and the AARP. Mrs. Brigham taught for twenty three years in Miss Ada Collings private school. She is survived by her granddaughter with whom she lived Beth Spooner Willis of Portsmouth, RI, her great grandson T.R. Willis of Portsmouth, RI, her sister Sarah King Reimer of Middletown, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Muriel Joyce Spooner and the sister of the late Lena Brooks. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 11:00 AM in Trinity Cemetery, East Main Road, Portsmouth.
