Nathaniel Ian Duponte

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Nathaniel Ian DuPonte, 23, of 12 William Drive, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI, on November 28, 1981, he was the son of Delores Lee Reynolds Botelho and step son of Steven M. Botelho of Newport, and son of the late Richard Joseph DuPonte.Nathaniel was a Graduate of Underwood School, Sullivan School, Thompson Jr. High, and Rogers High School where he excelled in the ROTC Program, he also attended Salve Regina College. Rogers High School awarded Nathanial with the Nathaniel Ian DuPonte Award for his courage and perseverance. Besides his mother and step father he is survived by his grandmother Ruth Santoro Reynolds of Middletown, RI, his brother Richard J. DuPonte II of Cranston, RI, his sister Heather Lynn DuPonte of Pensacola, FL, his niece Journey Rain DuPonte of Pensacola, FL, his aunts and uncles Arthur and Pamela Pine of Middletown, RI, Daniel Reynolds of Newport, RI, William and Serena Reynolds of Newport, RI, Donna Morgan of Middletown, RI, Patrick DuPonte of Middletown, RI, Ronald DuPonte of Newport, RI, and Manuel and Patricia DuPonte of Portsmouth, RI, and many cousins. He was the grandson of the late Manuel and Theresa Murphy DuPonte.His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at 6:00PM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, from 4-6PM, in the Memorial Funeral Home.
