Noreen Mary Egan BabinePORTSMOUTH, RI - Noreen Mary Egan Babine, 76, of 21 Eyler Drive, Portsmouth, RI died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at home. She was the wife of the late Cdr. Arthur L. Babine.Born in Quincy, MA on December 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Elizabeth Grace Donaher Egan.Noreen attended St. Mary?s School in Quincy and Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth, Ma, graduating in 1945. Mrs.Babine was a homemaker and a bookkeeper. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Babine was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church in Portsmouth. She is survived by her three sons Paul Babine of Portsmouth, RI, Stephen M. Babine of Jacksonville, FL, and Philip E. Babine of Portsmouth, RI, her daughter-in-laws Tandee and Cristiane, her granddaughter Catherine, her sister Edna Walker of Braintree, MA, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alice Border and William, Francis and Paul Eagan.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 10:30 from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
