Portsmouth, - Olivia F. Travers Rodrigues, 83, of 2368 East Main Road Portsmouth, died Friday, June 27, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Rodrigues. Born in Portsmouth, RI on September 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late August and Mary Barboza Travers. Mrs. Rodrigues worked at the Portsmouth Priory, the former Firestone?s Store, the former Grant?s Department store, and most recently worked as an assembler at Transcom in Portsmouth. She was a member of the Senior Bowling League in Middletown. She is survived by her companion Norman Cote of Portsmouth, RI, a son Joseph ?Sarge? Rodrigues and daughter Lorraine T. Jenkins both of Middletown, RI, her brother Dennis Travers of Tiverton, RI, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late John Travers, Manuel Travers, Helen Cardoza, Evelyn Corey and Alice Silvia. Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 30, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport.
