Pamela A. Botelho, 55, of Riverside Street, Portsmouth, RI, died on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at home.Born in Newport, RI on May 15, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Jesse J. and Alice J. (Guthrie) Moniz, and the step-daughter of Mary E. Viera Moniz of Moyock, NC.Pam was a 1978 graduate of Middletown High School and the Community College of RI. She was a homemaker and caretaker for her grandchildren, and loved artwork and camping.She is survived by her children, Stephanie Botelho, Kimberly Botelho and Jesse Botelho, all of Newport, RI; her brothers and sisters, Stephen Moniz of Barrington, RI, John Del Toro of Jefferson, GA, Lisa Moniz-Ripa of Savannah, GA and Jennifer Moniz-Mays of Moyock, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan, Mackenzie, Kayden and Logan Botelho; her longtime friend, Lynda Hoyle of Middletown, RI; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 3-6 pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI, with a prayer service at 4 pm.
