Patricia Ann Stevenson

Portsmouth, RI - Patricia Ann Sullivan Stevenson, 76, of 287 Fischer Circle, Portsmouth, RI, died on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Newport Hospital. She was the wife of the late Capt Roger Stevenson, USN, MC, Ret. Born in St. Louis, MO on June 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Col. William Sullivan, MD, US Army, Ret. and the late Anna Naylor Sullivan. Pat was very proud of her military career as a Navy nurse. She enjoyed spending time in the Phillipines, Japan, California, Colorado and Maryland. Pat and Roger cherished their time, above all, right here on Aquidneck Island, where they designed and built their dream house on Sakonnet Bay. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. She was a member of the Retired Officers Association and the Retired Navy Nurses. She is survived by her sister Dorothea May Silvestre and her husband Robert of Lincoln, RI, two nieces Lee Silvestre and family of Portsmouth, RI, and Patricia DaSilva and family of Lincoln, RI, and her nephew William J Sullivan, III of Oxnard, CA.She was the sister of the late William J. Sullivan, Jr. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 10:00am, from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
