CAPT Patricia Ann Drislane, USN, (Ret)

Patricia Ann Drislane, 72, died on January 22, 2025, in Middletown, RI.

Born in Albany, NY, she graduated from Vincentian Institute and Marquette University where she was valedictorian of the Class of 1974.

She served in the U.S. Navy for 29 years retiring as a full Captain. She moved to her beloved Newport, RI, where she joined the Newport Historical Society giving many walking tours. She was a Docent at the Touro Synagogue. Patricia never stopped studying the rich history and culture of Newport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Thomas Drislane and Mary Drislane, her brother Thomas Michael Drislane, and sister-in-law Susan Drislane.

She is survived by her sisters Dr. Mary Ellen Drislane (Dr. Joseph Baler), Kathleen Sullivan, and her brothers James, Daniel (Pam), Mark (Jean), and Robert (Melissa), along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and co-tour guides in Newport.

Per Patricia's wishes, funeral services are private. A private burial will take place at a later date.
