Patricia Hope Palakiko

Providence,RI - Patricia H. Palakiko, 56, of Providence, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 peacefully at home.Born in Corpus Christi, TX, she was the daughter of the late William and Doris Rimby Wright. She was the widow of Rickie K. Palakiko of Portsmouth, RI. Patricia received a Licensed Practical Nursing degree from Rhode Island College. She most recently worked as the store manager at The Salvation Army in North Providence. She was loving mother, she loved afternoons at Indian Point Park, horses and her friends at East Side Market Place. She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Wright of South Carolina and a son Brian R. Palakiko of Newport, RI. She was the grandmother of Shane Hurley, Sierra Wright, Ethan Southworth, and Logan Southworth. Patricia also leaves her brother Charles Smith and sisters Cheryl Sitzler, Wanda Wright, Valarie Wright, and Elaine Wright.She was the sister of the late William Wright III and Phyllis DeBlois.She also leaves behind her dear friends Beth Fallon and Brian Sullivan.
