, RI - Patricia M. Kirby Connors, 79, of 191 Forest Avenue, Middletown, RI, formerly of 2 Admiralty Drive, Middletown, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at John Clarke Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.She was the wife of the late John J. Connors. Born in Everett, MA on September 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Katherine Killderry Kirby.Pat attended Dental Nursing School in Boston, MA. She worked as a dental assistant for 2 years before marrying John Connors in 1952. She later worked as a dental assistant for the President of the Dental College at the University of Vermont. Pat was a loving mother and devoted wife. She moved the family over 12 times as her husband was transferred from state to state. She always saw the positive in everything. Pat volunteered for the Red Cross and the Newport Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Susan E. Pantone and her husband Joseph of Ocean Pines, MD, two step grandchildren Helen Spillan and Jay Pantone and two step great-grandchildren Katie and Patrick Spillan.She was the sister of the late Lawrence Kirby. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010, from 10-11 in Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett, MA.Her funeral will be held on July 2, 2010, at 11:00AM, in Immaculate Conception Church.Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 175 Broadway, Malden, MA.
