Patricia Mary Hines

Middletown, RI - Patricia Mary St. Germain Grant Hines, 72, of 333 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. Born in Pawtucket, RI on December 1, 1935, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Mulvey St. Germain.Mrs. Hines grew up in Pawtucket where she first worked as a telephone operator then worked in the jewelry manufacturing business. Mrs. Hines was most proud of her family being a mother of nine children. She enjoyed crocheting, spending countless hours on her enjoyment. She is survived by her children, David Grant of Lincoln, RI, Michael Grant of Pawtucket, RI, Susan St. Germain of Providence, RI, Patricia Soscia of Cranston, RI, Deborah Flores of Riverside, CA, Elizabeth Van Hale of St. Paul, MN, and Hannah Grant Lusignan of West Warwick, RI, her brother David St. Germain of Providence, RI, Deborah Thomson of Narragansett, RI, twenty five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Walter R. Grant and Raymond V. Grant, IV and the grandmother of the late Raymond Grant, V. Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008, at 9:00am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, in St. Josephs Church, on the corner of Mann and Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery in West Greenwich.Calling hours will be held on the morning of the service from 8:00-9:00am.
