Portsmouth, - Patrick Michael Engstrume, 40, of 17 Maggie Lane, Portsmouth, died Sunday, September 5, 2004, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI. He was the husband of Jean Marie Perrello Engstrume. Born in Wakefield, RI, on November 1, 1963, he was the son of James Engstrume of Newport, RI, and the late Mildred Monahan Engstrume. Mr. Engstrume worked as a rigger for the United States Government for 19 years, retiring in 2003, due to a disability. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Mr. Engstrume had been a caddy at the Point Judith Country Club and also at Carnegie Abbey. Besides his wife and father he is survived by five brothers James Engstrume of Wakefield, RI, Bruce Engstrume of Wakefield, RI, Timothy Engstrume of Wakefield, RI, Eric Engstrume of Wakefield, RI, and Robert Engstrume of Wakefield, RI, five sisters Alice White of Texas, Caren Steadman of Charlestown, RI, Leslie Engstrume of Westerly, RI, Mildred Delise of Newport, RI, and Diane Engstrume of North Kingstown, RI, a friend Paul Ricksucker of Wakefield, RI, several nieces and nephews, and two great nieces.He was also the brother of the late Wayne Engstrume.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004, at 11:00AM, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be in Portsmouth Cemetery in Portsmouth.
