Paul E. Silvia

BRISTOL, RI ? Paul E. Silvia, 54, of Metacom Avenue, Bristol, formerly of Chapel Street, Newport, RI, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at the R.I. Veterans Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI, on March 9, 1951, he was the son of Frances Virgadamo Silvia of Las Vegas, NV and the late Everett Silvia. Mr. Silvia served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a cab driver for ABC Taxi Company of Newport. Paul was a former member of the VFW and a former member of Weenat Sachet Tribe of Redmen. He enjoyed fishing and making model cars and giving them to his friends. Besides his mother he is survived by his sister Mary Rose Silvia of Providence, RI. His funeral will be held on Monday, June 27, 2005, at 10:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2005, from 2-4pm in the funeral home.
