Paul Jackson

Portsmouth, RI - Paul Paulie J. Jackson, 59, of 81 Willow Lane, Portsmouth, RI, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Newport Hospital.Born in Providence, RI on June 25, 1951, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Mary Seyez Jackson.Paul recently retired after years of working at the Bristol Maher Center.He had many interests; Paul loved animals and spending time at Simmons Farm as well as the Pet Shows. He liked to attend the Monster Truck Shows and Sports events including the Pawtucket Pawsox. He also enjoyed yard work and go cart racing. Paul was a wonderfully gifted artist; his art was displayed in different museums around town.He leaves his brother Arthur R. Jackson and his wife Katie of Carmel, IN, a sister Linda Kenney of Tamarac, FL. Paul also leaves behind his family at Willow Lane, Charles, Tom, Mel and Stephanie. A celebration of Pauls Life will take place Monday, May 16, 2011, from 4-6pm in his home, 81 Willow Lane, Portsmouth, RI.Services and burial will also take place at a later date in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, North Lauderdale, FL.Donations in his memory may be made to the Willow Lane Group Home, 81 Willow Lane, Portsmouth, RI 02871, or to the Bristol Maher Center, 100 Wood Street, Bristol, RI 02809.
