Paul R. Seddon, of Cliff Ave, Portsmouth, died on Saturday, January 3, 2015 surrounded by his daughters and wife at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Paul was born on June 9, 1954 to Josephine (DiSalvia) Seddon of Johnston, RI and the late Raymond "Chubby" Seddon. He grew up in Johnston and graduated from URI in 1976 where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Paul believed in always maintaining a healthy lifestyle by working out, which he continued until his recent illness. He also loved the years spent as a softball coach for his 3 daughters, volunteering for Portsmouth Little League.He is survived by his mother Josephine Seddon of Johnston, his wife Carrie (Oldroyd) Seddon of Portsmouth, and three daughters, Melanie Seddon of NYC, Laura Seddon of Los Angeles, CA, and Julia Seddon of Portsmouth. He is also suvived by his former spouse, Debra Seddon of Portsmouth. Paul also leaves two brothers, Raymond Seddon of Hennicker, NH and David Seddon of East Providence, RI, and a sister Joann Seddon of North Kingstown, RI. He will also be missed by his loyal four legged friend "Bella Mia".Funeral services will be held on Wednesdy, January 7, 2015 with calling hours from 9:00-11:00am in the St. Mary's Episcopal Church Parish Hall, East Main Rd Portsmouth, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am in the Parish Hall.
