Paul Yorganjian

Tiverton, - Paul Yorganjian, 86, of Sakonnet Bay Manor, Tiverton, formerly of Newport, RI, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. He was the husband of the late Margaret Hagopian Yorganjian. Born in Providence, RI on July 3, 1917, he was the son of the late Peter Yorganjian and Margaret Dulgarian Yorganjian. Mr. Yorganjian Owned and Operated Clays Mens Store from 1950-1971. He also worked for Wallachs and Ley?s Century Store for many years. Mr. Yorganjian served in the Knights of Vartan, the Order of the Masons and Shriners. He was a member of the Newport Rotary Club he had been an elder and deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Newport, R.I. Mr. Yorganjian was a World War II Army Veteran. He is survived by two Daughters Margaret Yorganjian of Charlestown, MA, and Joan Heffernan of Lexington, MA, one Sister Isabel Vazna of Garden Grove, CA, two grandchildren Catherine Margaret Heffernan of Lexington, MA, Christine Kaylyn of Lexington, MA.Mr. Yorganjian was the sister of the Late Elizabeth Yorganjian and Anna Yorganjian. His funeral will be held Thursday, June 24, at 10:00 am in First Presbyterian Church, Broadway And Everett, Newport, RI.Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Portsmouth, RIDonations in his memory may be made to the In The Middle Inc.
