Paula Anne Morris

Paula Morris, age 64, of Newport, passed away on May 18, 2018, at Newport Hospital.Paula was born on January 17, 1954, in Providence, RI, to the late Domenic Murgo and the late Audrey (Hillier) Murgo. Paula was the wife of Thomas J. Morris, Jr. for the last 29 years.She worked as a bus driver for Laidlaw School Bus and more recently, Ocean State Transit. In her spare time, she swam at the Boy's Club, loved gardening and cooking, and was an avid reader.Besides her husband, Tom, she is survived by her sons, Dustin Morris and Arthur Gaskell, her daughter, Kim Gaskell, her step-son, Thomas Bouchard, her brother Tony Murgo, and ten grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her son Andrew Gaskell and her brother Gregory Murgo.Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 2:00-4:00pm, at the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Newport County, 95 Church Street, Newport, RI 02840.Additional information at www.memorialfuneralhome.com
