Pauline C. Butterworth

Tiverton, RI - Pauline C. (Witkowski) Butterworth, 63, died on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at her home in Tiverton, RI.Born on January 29, 1952, in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Kaczenski) Witkowski.Pauline was the former proprietor of the Little Corner Store in Portsmouth, where she and Morgan were partners for many years and made many great friends. She was also greatly involved with the YMCA and the East Bay Food Pantry in Tiverton.She is survived by her children, Jack Butterworth of Portsmouth, and Morgan Lantz and her husband Bob, also of Portsmouth, a sister, Mary-Anne Blount of Danbury, CT, and her only grandchild, Elizabeth Lantz of Portsmouth.A memorial service in her memory will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 10:00a.m., in the St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Her burial will be private.
