Peggy Marie Davis

Newport, - Peggy Marie Earnest Davis, 53, of 147 Third Street Newport, formerly of 13 Tyler Street, Newport, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Thomas Glen Davis. Born in Missouri Valley, IA on August 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Leone Earnest.Mrs. Davis moved to the Newport area in 1973 and worked at hotels in Newport. For the last 15 years she has been working at the Hyatt Hotel on Goat Island as a assistant executive housekeeper. She is survived by her son Troy Davis of Newport, RI, her brother Jerry Earnest of Missouri Valley, IA, and two sisters Debbie Muncil of Little Sioux, IA, and Jeanette Bennett of Malmo, NB, several nieces and nephews and her two cats. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
