Peggy Sue Potts

Peggy Sue (Elliot) Potts, 74, of Portsmouth died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family.Born on February 25, 1941, in Bainbridge, OH, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Edna (Pierce) Elliot.Mrs. Potts worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at East Bay Community Action Program for over 20 years. Peggy loved to collect dolls and sew, but she loved nothing more than the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.She is survived by her children, Timothy Potts and his wife Linda, Sharon Booth, Stephen Potts and his wife Anna all of Portsmouth and Michele Perry of North Providence, RI, her son-in-law Steve Perry of North Providence, RI, her former husband Kenneth Potts and her grandchildren, Dillon, William, Laura, Jason, Justin, Joshua, Ashlee, Kaylee and Nicholas.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4-7pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
