Raychel R. Pratt

Newport, RI - Raychel R. Morales Pratt, 78, of 87 Girard Avenue, Newport, formerly of 139 Fenner Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Friday, December 17, 2004 in Middletown, RI. Born in Havana, Cuba on October 3, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Raquel Ramiro-Garcia Morales. Mrs. Pratt was a finalist for Miss Havana as a teenager before coming to the United States in 1946. After moving to Rhode Island she became a member of Jesus Saviour Church, where she was very active throughout her life until polio limited her mobility. Mrs. Pratt spent all of her time caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons Steven Pratt of Newport, RI, Gerald Pratt and Michael Pratt both of Middletown, RI, her daughter Virginia ?Ginny? Restivo of Newport, RI, her brother Rolando Morales of Royal Palm Beach, FL, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be private.
