Raymond F. King, Iii

Newport, RI - Raymond F. King, III, 47, of Newport and South County, RI, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 1, 2007. Born in Newport, RI on December 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Raymond F. King, Jr., and Constance E. Simmons Peckham and Donald F. Peckham of Middletown.Ray was an Eagle Scout, an avid lifelong sailor and enjoyed fishing. He was also a member of the Rotary Club. Besides his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his children, Zoe A. King Violet and her husband Paul of Marco Island, FL, Nicholas A. King of Newport, RI, and Maximilian R.F. King of Marco Island, FL, and their mother and his best friend Margo Violet of Marco Island, FL, his brothers David S. Peckham and Robert L. Peckham, his sisters Donna M. Ruhle and Deborah Simmons and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2pm in Newport Memorial Park, Howland Avenue, Middletown.
