Raymond Sidney Hareld

Raymond Sidney Hareld, 84, of Middletown died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Newport Hospital.Born on October 15, 1931 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Lydia J. (Shaw) Hareld. Mr. Hareld served honorably in the United States Army. He worked for the Ladd School with the disabled. After retiring he vacationed in St. Lucia and Jamaica. Raymond was the long-time companion of the late Shirley Andrews. They resided in Exeter for the past 25 years.He was predeceased by 12 siblings and his two sons. He is survived by two grandchildren.His service will take place on Saturday, January 2, 2015, at 11:00am, in St. Josephs Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rhode Island Breast Cancer Coalition.
