Middletown, RI - Raymond Urbain Huot, of Blenheim Residences in Middletown, RI, passed away in Newport Hospital, Monday, August 1, 2011 due to complications of an ongoing illness at the age of 63. Ray was born August 6th 1947 to Joseph Huot and Beatrice Hubert Huot Metayer in Biddeford, ME and spent his early childhood in Boston, and his adolescence was spent in Biddeford.Ray had lived on Aquidneck Island for 40 years and worked as a Computer Specialist at N.U.W.C. retiring after 35 years of service. Rays talents were vast and included painting, drawing, dancing, electrical engineering, carpentry, repairing cars and motorcycles, structural engineering, plumbing, furniture building, woodwork, stained glass and metal artwork. He most loved being with friends, artwork, traveling, sailing and exploring the Rhode Island coastline. Words cannot express how much Ray will be missed by everyone. He leaves behind many loving friends and a son, Russell Huot of Providence, RI, and former wives Anne Huot and Margaret Marafino. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011, from 5-7PM in the Hambly Funeral Home, Brick House, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport, RI.A Memorial service will follow at 7PM in the funeral home.Another Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME.
