Rebecca Jean Jacobson

Woonsocket, RI - Rebecca Jean Carey Jacobson, 39, of Woonsocket, RI, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI.She was the wife of Jordan Seth Jacobson. Born in Troy, NY on February 22, 1970, she was the daughter of David Michael Carey and the late Donna Cannam Carey.Mrs. Jacobson worked for Choice One Communications for 10 years as a network engineer. Rebecca was a member of Portsmouth Evangelical Friends Church. Nothing meant more to her than her family, friends and church. Besides her husband and father she is survived by her children, Benjamin Jacobson of Woonsocket, RI, Jordan Seth Jacobson, III and Elijah James Jacobson of Portsmouth, RI, and Deanna Mae Lescarbeau of North Adams, MA, her brother Michael Carey of North Adams, MA, her sisters Jennifer Norman of North Adams, MA, and Danielle Longtin of Bennington, VT, as well as several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at 11:00 am in Portsmouth Evangelical Friends Church, 11 Middle Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be in Portsmouth Friends Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, from 4-8 in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.Donations in her memory may be to the Dana Farber Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
