Regina M. Greene

Newport, RI - Regina M. Williams Greene, 52, of 18 John Chaffe Boulevard, Newport, RI, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at home. She was the wife of Edward Goodson of Stone Mountain, GA. Born in Flushing, NY on January 5, 1955, she was the daughter of Charles and Emma Johnson Williams of South Carolina.Mrs. Greene was a member of New Beginnings Praise Worship Center. She loved to cook, enjoyed puzzle books, playing cards and listening to music. She loved and enjoyed nothing more then being with her grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Tyrone Lastra, Lucille Greene, Terrance Greene, Latisha Michel and Tiante Greene all of Newport, RI, her brother George Lastra of Fall River, MA, her sister Donna Lastra of Florida, sixteen grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 11:00 am in New Beginnings Praise Worship Center, 7 Central Street, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, from 10-11am in the church.
