Portsmouth, RI - Richard Joseph St. Laurent, 57, of 68 Cottage Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died unexpectedly at home on July 6, 2010.He was the husband of Donna Pendell St. Laurent. Born in Fall River, MA on March 10, 1953, he was the son of the late Joseph Neil and Georgette Thibeault St. Laurent.Richard was a life long resident of Portsmouth. He worked for over 30 years as a machinist for Brown Sharp. Mr. St. Laurent was a life member of the Seaconnet Sportsmans Club in Portsmouth. Richard loved boating, quahoging, baseball, archery, watching old westerns, the Beatles, and spending time with his family. Richard was always active in helping his family and friends. Besides his wife of 37 years, he is survived by his children, Adam St. Laurent and his wife Jessica and their daughter Madalyn of Wrentham, MA, David St. Laurent his wife Stephenie and their children, Evin and Lillee of Portsmouth, RI, Melissa St. Laurent of Portsmouth, RI, and Lindsay Kerwin and her child Hayden of Maine, his best friend Sire, his brothers and sisters Dennis St. Laurent and his wife Kathy of Portsmouth, RI, Neil St. Laurent and his wife Sandra of Virginia, Ronald St. Laurent and his wife Tina of Arkansas, Elaine Barker and her husband Edward of Florida, Denise Mederios and her husband George of Little Compton, RI, and Janet Clark and her husband David of Maine and his sister-in-law Linda St. Laurent of Portsmouth, RI.He was the brother of the late Paul St. Laurent. A Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 11:00AM in St. Barnabas Church, East Main Road, Portsmouth for his family and friend.
