Portsmouth, RI - Richard W. DuBreuil, Sr., 69, of 263 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Nancy Peckham DuBreuil. Born in Cornwall, NY, on March 28, 1937, he was the son of the late William Russell and Etta Fletcher DuBreuil.Mr. DuBreuil served in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam Era. He served on board the USS Norfolk, the USS Price, the USS Davis, the Newman K. Perry, the USS Dealey, the Grand Canyon and the Puget Sound. He was a millwright for Tri Mack Plastics of Bristol, Boyd Co. of East Providence and Algonquin Gas of Assonet, MA for thirty two years. Mr. DuBreuil was a avid outdoorsman, he loved model railroading and cooking. He was also an avid reader. Besides his wife of he is survived by his children Donald M. DuBreuil of Middletown, RI, Richard W. DuBreuil Jr. and Robert L. DuBreuil both of Tiverton, RI, and Lisa Anne DuBreuil-Andrade of Warren, RI, his brothers Phillip W. White of Arapahoe, NC, and Donald W. White of Amarillo, TX, his sister Mary Dulaney of Brave, PA, and his grandchildren, Andrew, Brett, Cameron, Tyler, William, Elizabeth and Rebecca. He was the father of the late William Russell DuBreuil II. His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at 7:00p.m. in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
