Robert Clayton Raistrick

Portsmouth, RI - Robert Clayton Raistrick, 73, of 2121 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of 1211 Wapping Road, Middletown, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Cheryl D. LaMothe Raistrick. Born in Central Falls, RI on April 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Clifford and Louise Perlingerio Raistrick.Mr. Raistrick served in the United States Army. He worked for 15 plus years as a controller for the Federal Civil Service. Before the Federal Civil Service he was a ship materials controller for General Dynamics. Mr. Raistrick was a member of BPOE #104 Newport, the FOP Member Association and was a communicant of St. Lucys Church. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Robert C. Raistrick of West Haven, CT, his step son Mark J. Lopes of Middletown, CT, his daughters Donna Louise Raistrick of Perryville, RI, and Breanna-Carol Raistrick of Orlando, FL, ten grandchildren and one great grandson. He was the grandfather of the late Bobby Michael Raistrick. His funeral will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006, at 8:00am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 26, 2006, from 5-9pm, in the funeral home
