Barrington, RI - Robert L. Ouellette, 43, of 225 New Meadow Road, Barrington, RI, formerly of Admiral Court, Middletown, RI, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. Born in Newport, RI, on May 13, 1962, he was the son of Thomas G. Ouellette of Middletown and the late Jeanne Lefebvre Ouellette.Robert graduated from Middletown High School and also took Art and Computer classes at Salve Regina University. He worked for the James L. Maher Center in the laundry department and also at the Commissary on the Newport Navy Base. Bob was a Past Grand Kknight with the Newport Knights of Columbus, a membert of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Black Light through the James L. Maher Center. He participated in the Special Olympics. Bob became very close to his extended family at the group home and at the Maher Center. Besides his father he is survived by his sister Sheryl Chiles of Hegins, PA, his aunts Agnes Wilson of Gainsville, FL, and Marion Helfner of Holland, MI, his uncles Arthur Ouellette of Newport, RI, and Bernard and his wife Connie Ouellette of Orlando, FL, his cousins Betsy and Mark Sullivan and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Catherine Ouellette and Patricia Ouellette. His funeral will be held on Monday, April 10, 2006, at 8:00a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00a.m. in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2006, from 4-7p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
