Robert Marc Simard

Robert Marc Simard, 34, of 135 Golden Rod Drive Middletown, died Saturday, April 7, 2002 at St. Annes Hospital in Fall River, MA. He was the husband of Denise Raposa Simard. Born in Fall River, MA on November 24, 1967, he was the son of Robert Simard of Tiverton and the late Jacqueline Poulin Simard. Mr. Simard was a Superintendent of Dyeing for Kenyon Industries in Kenyon, RI. Mr. Simard was the President of the CYO at Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton, RI and he played and coached basketball in the Holy Ghost church basketball league. He was a 1985 graduate of Tiverton High School and attended SMU at Dartmouth, MA. He is survived by his wife Denise Simard of Middletown, RI, his father Robert Simard of Tiverton, RI, two daughters Lauren Christina Simard of Middletown, RI, and Alexa Margaret Simard of Middletown, RI. His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 10, at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00am in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport.
