Roger Nash Sherbourne

Middletown, RI - Roger Nash Sherbourne, 63, of 12 Beagle Drive, Middletown, RI, formerly of New Lisbon, NJ, died Saturday, September 27, 2008. Born in New Haven, CT on Jan. 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Everett and Rachel Williams Sherbourne.Roger moved to Middletown approximately nine years ago and joined the Bridges Inc. Program. He was active in St. Columbas The Berkeley Memorial Chapel in Middletown. He also enjoyed painting, spending time with his family and baking for the Bridges staff and day program participants. He loved to sing with his friends from St. Columbas Church He is survived by his sisters Rachel Nichols Cooney of Newport, RI, and Travis Jane Sherbourne of Tuscan, AZ. He also leaves a niece Erin Lee Cooney of Newport and his nephew Daniel E. Cooney of Tolucca Lake, CA. Roger also leaves his many friends from Bridges Inc. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:00am in St. Columbas The Berkeley Memorial Chapel, 55 Vaucluse Avenue, Middletown, RI.
