Roger Vincent Grinnell Sr

- Roger Vincent Grinnell Sr., 79, of Forest Avenue Middletown,formerly of Rockland Leisure Woods Rockland, MA, died Saturday, August 3, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.He was the husband of the late Lillian Kidd Grinnell and the late Anne R. Neil Grinnell. Born in Needham, MA on July 12, 1923, he was the son of Willis H. and Lila Norcross Grinnell. Mr. Grinnell served in the Army during WWII and went on to serve in the Navy Reserves as a Seabee. He worked for the State of California as an inspector for flood Control. He is survived by a son Roger Grinnell Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, two daughters Marsha Weir of Michigan and Donna Humphrey of Orange, CA. He also leaves a stepson Scott Littlehale of West Bridgewater, MA, a stepdaughter Sandra Gabriel of Middletown, RI, six grandchildren and one great grandson. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Grinnell. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at 11:00am, in the Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree. Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
