Portsmouth, RI - Ronald L. ?Rocky? Cloutier, 70, of Brownell Lane, Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA. He was the husband of Barbara A.Gray Cloutier.Born in Fall River, MA on January 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Donat and Juliette Pelletier Cloutier.Mr. Cloutier started working as a truck driver for O. Cloutier and sons Lumber Hauling in Fall River. He went on to work for himself as a truck driver for many years. Rocky was proud of his service to our country in the Massachusetts National Guard. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Ronald L. Cloutier, Jr. of New Bedford, MA, and Rachel Portelance and her husband Daniel of Marion, MA, his stepson Gary Medeiros of Fall River, MA, his sister Rita McLeod of Portsmouth, his grandchildren, Evan Portelance and Aaron Portelance both of Marion, MA, Hillary Baron of Fall River, MA, his great grandchildren, Dylan Mello, and several nieces and nephews. Rocky was the brother of the late Donat Cloutier and Constance St. Pierre.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 4:00-7:00pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.His funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
