Ronald M. Murak

EXETER, RI - Ronald M. Murak, 54, of Exeter, RI, formerly of Middletown, RI, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI. He was the husband of Linda Goodheart Murak, of Exeter. Born in Newport, RI on July 27, 1950, he was the son of Helen Bajek Murak of Newport, RI and the late Stanley Murak.Ronald was raised in Newport, and graduated from Rogers High School, where he was involved in the R.O.T.C. program and also attended Rhode Island College. Ronald worked for the Turnpike and Bridge Authority for 19 years, as a toll plaza supervisor. He was a member of the Masons Eureka Lodge of Portsmouth and the Green Bridge Fishing Club. Ronald was an avid hunter and NASCAR fan. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Stacey Murak of Worcester, MA, his brother Lawrence Murak of Scarborough, ME, his mother in law Anna Goodheart, his sister in-laws Renee Thomas and Denise Aguiar, his brother in-laws James Goodheart, Mark Goodheart and Kim Goodheart and his beloved canine companion ?Suzie?.He was the son in-law of the late James A.I. Goodheart. His funeral will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005, at 10:00 AM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on May 15, 2005, from 2-4pm in the funeral home.
