Ronald Michael Heup, 58, of Newport died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at home.Ron was born April 25, 1954 in Muskegon, MI. He is the son of the late Jerome Heup. Ronald worked for Looking Upwards. He was a member of Church Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and enjoyed traveling, shopping and walking.He leaves his mother Lillian Curt and step father Arthur Curt of Newport. Ron also leaves his sisters Brenda Curt, Linda O'Brien, Cheryl Vieth, Debrina Heup, Rosemarie O'Malley, Christine Terpening, Arthur Shough and James Shough. He is also survived by his foster brothers and sisters Timothy Sant, John Sant, William Sant, Velma Hudson, Lois Grover and Dede Parker.Ron was the foster brother of the late Manuel Sant and Thomas Sant.Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 9:00 - 10:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.His funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 23 in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 177 Miantonomi Avenue, Middletown.Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown.
