Newport, RI - Rosalind E. Nalle Green 58 of 39 Gould Street Newport, RI, died Friday, January 5, 2007 surrounded by loved ones.She was the wife of Donald R. Green.Born in Chicago, IL, on September 16, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Will Nalle and Priscilla Belain Ingram.Mrs. Green worked for Stop and Shop Supermarket for 24 years. She was a child advocate for RIPIN in the Newport School System.Besides her husband she leaves her children David Hayes of Augusta, ME, Tanya Hayes of New Bedford, MA and Michele Keys of Newport, RI. Mrs. Green leaves her beloved grandchildren Kelsey, Joseph, Brittany, Kiara, Danielle, Iyonna, Kyesha, Vernon Jr. and Devon. She also leaves her brothers and sister Reggie Nalle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Juanita Diamondopoulas-Guillen of Chicago, IL, and Ronnie Nalle of Newport as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2007 at 11:00am in Mt. Zion AME Church Van Zandt Avenue Newport. Family and Friends are invited to attend.Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 3 - 7 pm in the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport, RI.Burial will take place in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.Donations in her memory may be made to the Mt Zion AME Church Van Zandt Avenue Newport, RI 02840.
