Rose Ann Makeever

Middletown, RI - Rose Ann Nunes Makeever, 77, of 25 Stockton Drive, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Middletown, RI on Aug. 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Octavio and Rose Dutra Nunes.Rose, a graduate of Rogers High School, worked at the Newport Hospital for 22 years. She use to be and excellent seamstress and cake decorator. Rose had a love for animals, driving, friends and family. She is survived by her children Harold Makeever and his wife Betsy of Memphis, TN, and Sandra Correia and her husband George of Middletown, RI, her brother Francis Nunes of Middletown, RI, her sister Laura Murphy of Portsmouth, RI, and her grandchildren, Christopher Correia of Somerville, MA, Kyle Correia of Middletown, RI and Molly Makeever of Memphis, TN.She was the sister of the late John Nunes, Joseph Nunes and Mary Jacome. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 11:00am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
