Rose Ciaramello

Rose E. Penny Ciaramello, 68, of Birchwood Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI.Born in Newport, RI on August 15, 1940, she was the daughter of Rose Simmons and the late George E. Silvia.Penny worked at Raytheon for 37 years, retiring in 2003. She also enjoyed making flower arrangements and other crafts, and keeping her home and gardens in excellent condition.She is survived by her mother Rose Simmons of Middletown, RI, a brother Jerry House, and an aunt Marge Northup. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 18, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.
