Middletown, RI - Rose Elizabeth Salvador, 90, of Seascape Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Clare Home in Newport. She was the wife of the late John Salvador. Born in Newport, RI on July 17, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline (Pasquale) Vidinha.She is survived by her children, John Sadler and his wife Francesca of Higham, MA and Jane Christensen and her husband Ernest of Portsmouth, RI, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her brother, John M. Vidinha and her sisters, Mary A. Ferreira, Geogianna Perry and Lydia Pine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 9 am in Jesus Savior Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will follow in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
