Rose F. Miller

Newport - Rose F. (Hepburn) Miller, of Bedlow Avenue, Newport passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edwin Miller.Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Ruddy) Hepburn.Mrs. Miller had worked as a secretary for the State of Rhode Island Employment Office and the Newport School Department. She also worked for Hammersmith Farm as a tour guide.Rose had a fabulous sense of humor. She loved spending time with her family.She leaves her daughters Patricia A. Miller of Newport, Janice E. Aud of San Diego, CA and Margaret A. Mendonca and her husband Michael of Middletown, she also leaves six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Hazel Allen of Warwick and Sadie Turner of Sun City, AZ.Rose was the mother of the late Michael Miller and sister of the late Rita Anderson.Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
