Rose Maria Kivlehan

Rose Maria (Pereira) Kivlehan, 48, of Middletown died on November 1, 2012, in Newport after a long term battle with cancer, in which she was a strong fighter.She was the wife of the late Anthony Francis Kivlehan.Born on April 10, 1964 in Faial, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of Maria (Neves) Pereira of Newport, RI and the late Manuel E. Pereira. Rose was a 1983 graduate of Rogers High School and attended CCRI working on a BA in Business. She worked as a bank teller for, Citizen's Bank and she was currently employed at Columbus Credit Union in Warren, Rhode Island. She was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. Rose loved nothing more then being with her family, reading a good book and relaxing at the beach.Besides her mother, she is survived by her children, Nicole, Nathan and Brittany Kivlehan all of Middletown, RI, her siblings Joe Pereira of Naples, FL, Maria Dowler and her husband Rodney and Linda Ferreira and her husband Hermano of Middletown, RI, Anna Pereira of Newport, RI and her grandson Justin Fowler. She is also survived by four nephews, five nieces, and her sister-in-laws Barbara, Margaret and Mary Kivlehan. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 2-5 PM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012, at 9:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM, in Jesus Savior Church, Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown.
