Bridgewater, MA, - Rose Marie Faria Peters, 85, of 15 Vinny Circle, Bridgewater, MA, formerly of 1 Rosedale Court, Middletown, died Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the Life Care Center Of West Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, MA.She was the wife of the late Jesse Peters Jr. Born in Newpot, RI, on June 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Frances Moitoza Faria. Mrs. Peters had worked as a secretary for many years at the Middletown Insurance Company and Gustave White Insurance Company. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and collecting antiques. She is survived by two daughters Katherine Simmons of Tiverton, RI, and Susan St. Martin of Bridgewater, MA, a brother Frank Faria of Portsmouth, RI, a sister Carrie Rose of North Dighton, MA, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Antone Faria, Joseph Faria, Manuel Faria, Mary Botelho, Frances Medeiros, Jennie Luiz, and Annie Oliver.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at 8:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM, in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.Memorial donations may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terrace, Stoughton, MA, 02702. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Brown?s Lane, Middletown.
