Newport, RI - Rose Marie (Pimnental) Silvia, 96, of Newport, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Manuel Silvia. Born in Portsmouth, RI on June 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Raoul F. and Delfina (Coelho) Pimental. She is survived by her sons, Charles Silvia and his wife Mary K. Silvia of Punta Gorda, FL and Manuel Silvia Jr. and his wife Barbara Silvia of Naples, FL, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces nephews.She was the sister of the late Antone Pimental, Jack Pimental, Jessie P. Declara, Delphine P. Gagnon, and Angela LopezAt the request of the family, all services are private.
