Middletown, RI - Rose S. Lema Silvia, 89, of 29 King Road, Middletown, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at home.She was the wife of the late Manuel L. Silvia. Born in Portsmouth, RI on August 11, 1914, she was the daughter of Marion and Mary Rosario Lema.She is survived by her son Henry L. Silvia of Middletown, RI, two daughters Elizabeth MacDonald and Barbara Renick both of Middletown, RI, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Antone Lema, Joseph Lema, Frank Lema, Marion Lema Jr., Laura Lema and Lilly Lema.Funeral services and burial are private.Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Donations in her memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service of Newport Bristol Counties, Hospice Care, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
