Roselina Rodrigues

Middletown, RI - Roselina Roposa Rodrigues, 92, of 55 Valley Road, Middletown, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at home.She was the wife of the late Henry F. Rodrigues Sr. Born in Sao Miguel, the Azores, on June 19, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Bento Mathias and Marianna Medeiros Raposa. Mrs. Rodrigues was a member of Jesus Saviour Church and Past President of the Ladies of the Rosary Sodality and Member of the Portuguese American Women?s Civic League and was past member of the Middletown Senior Citizen Club. She is survived by her son Henry F. Rodrigues Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, and her daughter Constance M. Casey of Middletown, R.I., two sisters, Marianna Massed of Warren, R.I., Amy Rebello of Fall River, MA, one Brother, Adlino Raposa of Portsmouth, R.I., five grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rosemarie Rodrigues. Mrs. Roderigues was the sister of the late Manuel Raposa, David Raposa, Louie Raposa, Jil Fernandes, Mary Ripa, Clara Trifero.Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 9:00 am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am, in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
